Man fights off masked robbery duo | 911
A Queen Anne man fought off two masked men who followed him home and attempted to rob him early Monday.
The man was driving home to his apartment in the 2200 block of 13th Avenue West at about 2 a.m. Feb. 1 when he noticed a 1990’s black 4-door Honda following him. When he got home he saw the vehicle parked in a parking lot nearby. As he was getting stuff from his car, the two masked men approached him and demanded money. The man told them he didn't have any money and struck the first man to the ground.
Then the second man attacked him and hit him with a closed fist several times, causing minor abrasions. The other robber got off the ground but the victim knocked him down again, then activated his car alarm, which prompted the robbers to get back in their car and drive off.
The first suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, 5’11”, 170 pounds. The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, 5’6”, 140 pounds.
The victim declined medical attention.
