Blown transformer leaves QA in the dark

Power is out in a large part of Queen Anne. This is a picture taken from the dark north slope looking towards Fremont. They have lights; we don't!

Seattle City Light says the problem appears to be a blown transformer and it will likely be midnight before power is restored.

actually, city light says trees blew into some power lines. http://powerlines.seattle.gov/2009/11/05/city-light-restores-power-to-qu...

and power was restored over an hour ago, so you're a little late – and inaccurate – in your reporting.
